The Mnaging Director PIDA, Khalid Masood Chaudhary has approved the Elections Plan for the elections of 67 Farmers Organizations and 2723 Khal Panchayts in the Area Water Board of Lower Chenab Canal (West) Circle, Faisalabad.
After the approval, the Chief Ececutive of LCC (West) Area Water Board has issued the electiopn schedule and the notification for the appointments of Election Officers and Senior Elections Officer. As per plan, the elections of Khal Panchayts will be conducted during Jnuary 8, 2013 and February 1, 2013 after fulfilling the necessary requirements. The Chief Executive will hear and decide the objections on elections during February 10 to February 16 and notify the elections results on February19.
PIDA management has also directed the election officers for not giving opportunity to Abiana defaulters to contest the elections.
